OrcasAgent™ Cognition Factory
Where cognitions are built.
OrcasAgent runs the mesh. Cognition Factory builds what runs on it — a governed supply chain that carries a domain expert's intent all the way to a promoted, evidence-gated cognition. No ML team required.
one cognition → promoted → a live node in the mesh
The cognition supply chain
Where the capabilities come from.
Six stations, one chain of custody. Each stage leaves evidence the next one can check, and the gate at the end reads all of it.
Intent
The person who owns the problem describes it in plain language. The Factory does the rest.
Data
Curate a rights-checked dataset with provenance that travels with it. No unlicensed data reaches a model.
Model
Choose a base from a live garden of open models — real parameters, real license, ready to train.
Run
Train on the GPU on your desk, or a GPU reached over IP. Live, honest telemetry the whole way.
Truth-telemetryEvaluate
A real judge and fail-closed gates. You see measured lift, not a promise.
Publish
Promote the cognition through the Model Breach into the mesh, evidence attached.
Chat first. Build second.
The Intent stage is a conversation with OrcasAgent™ Guide — a model-building expert that runs on a local cognition of its own. It plans the cognition with you, weighs the trade-offs, finds the data and the sources, right-sizes the GPU to your budget, and scaffolds every downstream station before you touch a control.
You shape the build in conversation, with straight answers about what it will cost and what it will take.
abstract workbench rhythm — not a screen · real capture lands post-gate
Compute without lock-in
Train on any GPU. Even the one on your own desk.
Cognition Factory compares live prices across GPU providers and plans the run before a cent is spent, with fail-closed cost guards that stop a job before it exceeds its budget. Or bring your own: a GPU you already own becomes a $0 lane over an encrypted private network — the GPU follows the engineer, from the office to a customer site, with no public IP and no cloud bill.
A gate, not a push.
Cognitions cross from the Factory into the mesh through the Breach: per-file checksum, license and provenance checks, and a real load probe. What passes becomes an immutable, content-addressed capability the mesh can onboard. What fails comes back with the reason. Nothing crosses on trust.
Every number is real, or it's blank.
The Factory shows a metric only when a real backend produced it. No mock dashboards, no seeded curves, no fabricated confidence. If a gauge has no signal, it says so. It is the same principle the whole platform runs on — and the reason you can put a cognition in front of an auditor.
cold-chain router · routing accuracy · a promoted cognition, measured on held-out cases
Build the model your auditors would approve.
Intent in. Governed capability out — promoted, not shipped.
